Good job getting some narrative recorded. What kind of mic did you use?
There are some bumps and rustles towards the start of the recording just after you have started. It is often best to turn on the recording and wait a few seconds before starting to speak - this will let you compose yourself and get any paper rustles out of the way before you start - you can always chop that bit off in an audio editor.
There are also a couple of plosives in there (where you say a consonant such as "P" and there is a little puff of air hitting the mic). The best way to avoid this is to turn your head slightly so the mic is a little bit off the to side of your mouth. An alternative method is to make a wind screen using a pair of nylon tights and a wire coat hanger.
Nice job. Did you try layering it with some background music?
